This, along with Distemperate Reality II, are the first finished paintings of 2024. They broadly represent global warming. This depicts the heating of the oceans, the rising of the oceans due to the glaciers melting, and the soybean-green polluted skies which are poisoned from cars, factories, and soybean farming in Brazil to feed the cows which also ruin our ozone (among other pollutants). We are squished between water and air, thus making a destemperate reality!
